    As the buildout of clean energy in the U.S. continues, the availability of skilled labor for construction is a continuing concern, as are challenges to community acceptance and permitting. Many developers and contractors find that using union labor helps address these challenges by giving them access to a very large national training system and organized support in the community. This session will explore how these relationships work, where there are still gaps in labor availability, and how employers decide when using union labor makes sense for a project.
