Buyer Beware—The New Normal for Battery Energy Storage System Pricing

This presentation will provide an overview of recent energy storage pricing trends, identify key drivers moving forward, and outline what buyers can expect over the next five years. CEA will provide data directly from our internal cost-modeling to show how system costs have evolved over time, both from a bottoms-up perspective and in real terms as costs to customers amid the ongoing price war, and how they are likely to change in the future. The presentation will identify key drivers (trade policy, materials pricing, etc.) to educate attendees about what is driving current pricing and how these factors will shift over time. Impacts from tariffs and other trade factors, such as the Graphite AD CVD investigation, will be summarized, giving attendees a quantitative view of how these levers are power are impacting pricing on-the-ground, today and 5 years from now.
