    For over 15 years, Yves Figuerola has led global supply chain and procurement for numerous leading renewable energy companies. Serving as SVP of Global Sourcing & Supply Chain for Nextracker for over 7 years at Nextracker, Yves leads a world-class team of procurement, logistics, sourcing, supply chain and sustainability professionals. Over the past three years since the global COVID pandemic, Yves is responsible for onshoring and increasing Nextracker’s US domestic content from one gigawatt of capacity to 25 GW (2021-present), in addition to leading global sourcing teams to diversify Nextracker’s domestic content manufacturing capabilities in the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and Latin America.

    He has led sourcing and delivery of market-leading solar tracking product technologies around the world and is responsible for shipping nearly 100 GWs of Nextracker’s award-winning smart solar trackers to over 30 countries.

    Prior to his tenure at Nextracker, Yves held senior leadership positions in supply chain at Iberdrola and Sun Edison. He earned his master’s in Industrial Organisation, Production & Supply Management at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and an MS in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at Arts et Métiers ParisTech – École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, both schools ranking the top engineering and scientic schools in Europe. Yves frequently speaks at renewable energy and manufacturing industry events such as pv magazine’s UP Initiative aimed at increasing sustainable business practices, lifecycle assessments and traceability withing the solar industry.
