    Tristan Doherty joined LG Energy Solution Vertech in 2022 as Chief Product Officer. A senior technical leader with a strong background in a broad variety of industries and core technologies – spanning data analytics, stationary energy storage, advanced battery manufacturing and motorsports – Tristan is responsible for LG Energy Solution Vertech’s product portfolio and overall product strategy. With over 15 years of experience developing innovative solutions to complex problems, he has a proven track record of bringing value to market by leveraging deep domain knowledge and continually building strong relationships throughout the value chain.
    Tristan studied Computer and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and holds several industry-related patents. Early on in his career, Tristan played a central role in the discovery and development of a new lithium-ion battery product design and manufacturing process. Since then, he has become a cross-discipline expert on developing and delivering products and services for the rapidly growing utility-scale energy storage industry.
