    Michael Rucker

    Michael Rucker is Founder and CEO of Scout Clean Energy, a renewable energy owner-operator with 1,000 MW of operating wind and solar projects and 19 GW of wind, solar and storage in development.   Scout was acquired by the Brookfield Global Transition Fund in 2022 for $1.1 billion.  Michael was also co-founder of Harvest Energy Services, Inc., a renewables O&M and construction management company, and he served as CEO of juwi Wind North America and as VP of Business Development at Clipper Windpower Development. Prior to that, Michael held positions at GE, the International Energy Agency, and the Edison Electric Institute.  Michael was selected as EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Mountain West region and National Finalist in 2023, and he has served as a judge for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program since 2023. Michael earned a BA degree in International Relations from Pomona College and a M.A. degree in International Economics (Energy program) from Johns Hopkins SAIS.  Michael is a resident of Boulder, Colorado.
