    Manuel Esquivel

    Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs

    Manuel Esquivel has 15 years of experience developing sustainable solutions in different industries and sectors, including energy, real estate, transportation, biofuels, and mining. He recently joined Hydrostor as Senior Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs, with a focus on Eastern US markets. Before joining Hydrostor, Manuel was Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Enel North America covering Eastern US and Canada RTOs and State activities for demand response, large-scale renewables, and FTM and BTM storage. Prior to that, Manuel worked as Sr. Infrastructure and Energy Planner at the Boston Planning and Development Agency, where he managed the City’s microgrid and district energy programs, and at RMI where he co-developed a model to project India’s transportation sector emissions and analyze policy solutions. Manuel holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a MS in Environmental Science and Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
