Gabe LeFave serves as the Director of Field Operations at Cupertino Electric, Inc., one of the nation's top EPC contractors in the renewable energy sector. With over 31 years in the electrical industry and more than 15 years focused on clean energy, Gabe brings a field-first approach to managing complex, utility-scale energy projects across the country. Gabe began his career in Las Vegas, graduating from the IBEW 357 JATC and rising through the ranks as a superintendent at leading firms such as Bombard Electric, Dynalectric, Fisk Electric, and Bechtel Corporation. His experience spans a wide range of critical infrastructure—from casinos and water treatment plants to nuclear facilities, data centers, and now renewable energy systems. He has
led on-the-ground field operations and execution for some of the industry's most demanding projects. At Cupertino Electric, Gabe has spent over 12 years advancing field operations, overseeing union labor relations, and ensuring successful execution of EPC work on utility-scale solar and BESS
projects nationwide. A Master Electrician licensed in multiple states, he also holds OSHA 30, cable splicing, and certified fire alarm credentials. Beyond project work, Gabe is an active NECA member and brings a strong union perspective to industry discussions.
